De geschiedenis van ’the original’ Radio Unique \/ Unique FM<\/span><\/h4>\n

Welkom bij wat tussen 1978 en 1984 “Amsterdam’s meest professionele radiostation” was. Radio Unique – later Unique FM 98.1 – presenteert hier haar verleden met veel te lezen, te zien en te luisteren. Een tamelijk volledige kijk achter de schermen met informatie uit de \u00e9\u00e9rste hand.<\/p>\n

Radio Unique was in de jaren 80 van de vorige eeuw een toonaangevend radiostation in Amsterdam. Omdat in die periode commerci\u00eble radio bij wet was verboden werden stations als Unique ook wel “piratenzenders” genoemd.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Radio Unique geldt als \u00e9\u00e9n van de belangrijkste voorlopers van de huidige commerci\u00eble radiostations als Radio 538, Q Music, Sky Radio en Radio 10. Omdat het station, anders dan de voormalige zeezenders, werkte met een (voor die tijd) strak muziek- en presentatieformat. En een even strak jinglepakket en promobeleid. Unique klonk altijd ongeveer hetzelfde, uiteindelijk 24 uur per dag en zeven dagen per week.<\/p>\n

n.b.: toen ik jaren geleden oude jingles en fragmenten digitaliseerde leek ‘Real Audio’ als formaat nog een goed idee. Als je alle fragmenten wilt kunnen beluisteren zul je de ‘Real Media Player’<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>moeten downloaden. Uiteindelijk zal alles op deze site in MP3 te beluisteren zijn. Is de ambitie \ud83d\ude09 <\/p>\n
